Major Model Update in 2025

The iPhone 17 series will introduce a significant shift in the lineup. A brand-new model, the iPhone 17 Air, will feature an ultraslim design and replace the previous iPhone 17 Plus, which is being discontinued due to poor market performance.

Screen Size Enhancements

The standard iPhone 17 will see its screen size increase from 6.12 inches (ca. 16 cm) to 6.27 inches (ca. 16 cm), matching the current iPhone 16 Pro.

The iPhone 17 Air, Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever, will come with a 6.55-inch display, slightly smaller than the 6.7-inch iPhone 16 Plus but officially rounded to 6.6 inches (ca. 17 cm).

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will retain their existing screen sizes at 6.27 inches (ca. 16 cm) and 6.86 inches (ca. 17 cm), respectively, consistent with the iPhone 16 Pro series.

According to industry sources, all four iPhone 17 models will support 120Hz ProMotion refresh rates, along with a powerful 24MP front-facing camera and Apple’s next-gen A19 chip, promising a major leap in user experience.
